Designed for use with heavy-bodied paints, this wedge is made of engineered silicone and is ergonomically designed to fit in the hand for a more direct interaction with art work. It is ideal for oils, acrylics and water-miscible oils, and because it is heat-resistant, it excels at encaustics as well. Shape plaster, clay and even frosting. Clean up is a breeze, and in most cases can be done with mild soap and water. Dried paint can be peeled off the silicone surface for a fresh start; the blades can even be separated from their wood handles for cleaning.
