WORKSHOP: Basic Acrylics
This workshop is designed to educate (adult) beginning acrylic painters. All supplies included, but participants are encouraged to wear old clothing. During this session artists will be able to explore acrylics using professional grade acrylic paint, including Golden Artists Acrylics, Liquitex, and other brands.
TOPICS:
- Basic information on the properties of acrylic paint.
- Layering techniques
- Blending techniques
- Detailing techniques
- Introduction to s'grafitto and impasto

| Skill Details: | This workshop is designed for a beginning to intermediate student interested in learning basic acrylic techniques. Even though the session is only two hours, a lot of information will be covered. |
| Requirements: | No necessary skills are needed to participate, other than being prepared to paint as well as take a lot of notes. |

| Instructor Bio: | Ernest has a bachelor's in fine arts degree and a K-12 education License. He has taught middle school in the public school system and continues to "pass on the torch" at Artists Guild. |
